INLAND EMPIRE MAGAZINE & FOOD TRUCK MANIA

So, Inland Empire Magazine contacted us a few months back asking if they could feature us for their October 2012 issue. Everyone in the foodie world knows that October is the mecca of large gourmet food truck events in Southern California, so naturally we were honored and excited about the shoot. But we were even more excited to find out that the in house photographer for the magazine was a friend that we have worked together with in the past and someone who we really admire as a person and a professional photographer. If you haven't heard of Aubrey Noelle, you need to check her out. Her photography ranges from weddings, high fashion, food and everything in between not to mention she is the sweetest, most lovable person you can meet. We had a blast during our shoot and talked for hours before we even started taking pictures. The photo shoot was taken inside our Suite Gourmet Cupcake Truck at our Suite Lab & Design Center in Rancho Cucamonga, Ca.

Our Suite Gourmet Cupcake Truck aka JIM BOB (Just Inspire Many Beyond Our Belief)
GOT A NEW MAKEOVER!!! We really got attached to the old clothes and it surprisingly was a bit emotional at first to make the change, but we are so ecstatic with the outcome and new look. Gatorwraps in Ontario, CA definitely took great care of us and hooked our baby up with a fabulous wrap.

We had no idea how hard it was going to be for us to create a design (especially with a 3 day deadline to be completely finished). We are two sisters that are stubborn and very different in every way, so "Rock, Paper, Scissors" is still the only fair way we can compromise on everything including a food truck design. We knew that we both wanted the truck to be timeless and eye catching with the main focus on our product. We didn't want anything too flashy or overdone. We have a clean cut artisan product that is hand crafted, made fresh by scratch everyday utilizing local and imported organic and gourmet ingredients. And in everything we do we want to portray a very clean yet bold representation of our products and we think this design speaks just that. We love the over sized photos of our cupcakes and logo with the vibrant contrast of color.

Ever since we got launched the first gourmet dessert food truck in the Inland Empire in the Summer of 2011 we have been IN LOVE with the food truck scene and especially all the new friends we have met in the wide range and genre of gourmet food. It's such an inspiring world of culinary goodness. Plus it's amazing at how many new fans and customers we can reach out to. It is a retail store on wheels and a great extension to the Suite 106 Cupcakery brand. The day we debuted the truck at the IE Food Truck Fest in 2011 we Won 1st Place for "Best Dessert Food Truck" and this past Spring our truck also Won 1st Place for "Best Dessert Truck of 2012" at the Pechanga Food Truck Fest. It is mind blowing how well received and appreciated our product has grown to be.
