The Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

December is definitely the Most Wonderful Time of the Year! Everyone is filled with holiday spirit. The weather is cold and everywhere you go Christmas is in the air. This is the time for Peppermint Hot Cocoa, Gingerbread lattes, red velvet cake, cream cheese smothered on everything, family, friends, scarves, fireplaces, laughter, the smell of warm gourmet spices and amazing desserts. Not to mention this month is also our birthday month! Yes, Christy and I are both Christmas babies. My birthday is only 4 days (21st) before Christmas and hers is 3 days (28th) after Christmas. Plus our mom is a December baby as well. So I'm sure our Dad worked a lot of over time during the holidays...lol

Gingerbread cupcakes- Moist and delicate gingerbread cake topped with sweet cream cheese frosting edged in gingerbread cookie crumbles with our cute cute cute little gingerbread men on top! Oh by the way did I tell you these are To Die For!? Well they are and you must indulge in one or two :)

Since 2007 we've been shipping our Suite 106 JARS. But it wasn't until our fist appearence of Cupcake Wars in 2010 that it became a massive hit. We ship out tons of these gourmet treats all over the nation and it only doubles during the holidays. These babies are hands down one of our most popular products. About 3 standard sized cupcakes placed in a glass mason jar with 2 layers of cake, 2 layers of frosting, fillings and toppings! Our customers love that they can eat them with a spoon, share them or stick in the fridge or freezer to save for later. They request them time after time in our store and since we ship them nationwide on our website www.suite106cupcakery.com they love to send their out of state family members their favorite cupcakes. We have customers who have ordered them in place of a wedding cake and even ordered them while away on vacation just so they can have a taste of home :)

Our CHEF'S CHOICE flavor is by Chef Jannella Joy Grisby. Jannella chose a Caramel Pecan creation which our in-store customers loved. French chocolate cake topped with creamy caramel frosting edged in finely chopped pecans!

 

Neapolitan ice cream is classic, delicious and the best of all worlds! And since we are obsessed with re-creating our childhood favorites, we decided to create a gourmet cupcake version of this old fashioned treat! It's a strawberry cake studded with fresh strawberries, stuffed with strawberries then topped with layers of Belgian chocolate frosting, Madagascar vanilla buttercream and an all natural whipped strawberry frosting Bursting with flavor!
